When the con man knew his hair was getting worse he decided to run for president. But to be successful he knew he’d need some kind of hat to manage his deteriorating hair and that’s where the red hat came from. And of course it needed to be styled to cover up any hair defects on any particular day. It needed to cover all eventualities.
So I think it’s reasonable to suggest that if he’d had great hair what happened to the Republican Party might have been avoided.
