THE ONLY THREE - PERHAPS

PAST LOVES is an escapee from the 2012 releases and overflow lists And having discovered this selection had been wrongly dated I have decided to give it its own post and to locate (I think) a previously unused photograph - also from the past

In an earlier post I suggested that, as I was re-engaging with the songs I had written,  there had perhaps been only two albums of any import These were MORE LIKE A RIVER THAN A ROAD and CUT FEET AND EMPTY SHOES. But this morning as I was choosing to say something about PAST LOVES I think I would like to revise that suggestion to include this one - and make it three

There have been numerous mentions on the blog about how pleasing it is to be contacted by a total stranger to be told that they liked one of the songs It does not happen often and perhaps that adds to the delight - and it did happen with this album

Someone from a site called Audiocamp at http://audio-camp.com/sheila-k-cameron-past-loves/ wrote
'Sheila K Cameron is a Scottish poet-songwriter who lives these days in Canada – “Past Loves” contains cover versions to some old folk & blues songs. recorded in the 1960’s – there’s something enchanting in Sheila’s voice & that lonesome acoustic guitar, truly a beautiful release'

The album can be heard on Bandcamp at https://sheilakcameron.bandcamp.com/album/past-loves
